The event, held over the past four years, recognized outstanding performances by student-athletes from the institution as well as from external entities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the Sports Department, the awards will be replaced with a more inclusive ceremony that honors both faculty and student excellence across a wider range of areas, from academics to sports.
