VINCENT &#038; THE GRENADINES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Kingstown, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, November 11, 2019: Republic Bank (EC) Limited<br>has introduced Mr. Sterl Lyons as its Country Manager for banking operations here in St. Vincent<br>and the Grenadines.<br><br><br>Mr. Lyons has more than 22 years of experience in the banking profession, and has aspired towards<br>and achieved excellence. <br><br>He has held numerous senior-level positions at Scotiabank, including<br>Branch Manager, Business Banking Manager, Manager of Collections, Assistant Manager of Sales<br>Support and Accounting Officer.<br><br><br>His most recently appointed role was as Branch Manager and he has served in this capacity in various Caribbean islands, including Grenada, St. Lucia and, most recently, Barbados. Prior to his appointment as Branch Manager, Mr. Lyons spent time in Jamaica on a management development<br>rotation to some of Scotiabank\u2019s branches there.<br><br><br>Mr. Lyons earned his Associate Degree in Banking in 2003, his Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Commerce<br>with a Certificate in Financial Services in 2011, and is currently pursuing his Master\u2019s Degree in Business (MBA). He has also earned recognition and accolades for his stellar performance and leadership, including the Regional Top-Performer Award in 2005, the Best of the Best Award in<br>2017, and the Best of the Best Individual Award in Barbados in 2018.<br><br>Mr. Lyons appointment follows the acquisition of the operations of the Bank of Nova Scotia by<br>Republic Financial Holdings Ltd. Republic Bank opened its branch, staffed by more than 30 employees, to the public on Friday November 1, 2019.<br><br><br>With a diverse network of 118 branches, in 14 territories and more<br>than 5,900 employees, Republic Bank has been building relationships with stakeholders and serving customers for 182 years.
