Nine more Vincentian seafarers are to be repatriated today, Wednesday 13th May, according to Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves.
Prime Minister Gonsalves said on Star Radio yesterday that the Carnival Cruise line, which repatriated 92 Vincentian sailors last Saturday, found the nine Vincentian seafarers on ships off Barbados and they will be transported to St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Dr Gonsalves said he was told originally there were 112 persons to be brought here last weekend but when they finalized the list they said 91 or 92.
The 92 Vincentian seafarers that arrived here onboard the cruise ship Carnival Glory last Saturday were subjected to testing for Covid-19.
