Davis Aunt saddened by his death

Fidel Davis, the Stubbs man who lost his life on Monday May 11th, 2020 during a motorbike crash has been described as a man who loved life, was friendly and outgoing.
Davis was riding his motorbike, a black and white Ninja registration number PW177, in the area of the Biabou bridge when he crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speaking to ANN, one of Davis’s aunts who preferred not to give her name, said she was heartbroken when she heard the news and words cannot describe how she feels.
She said she last saw him on Saturday driving a vehicle, and he waved at her and she waved back.

“We had a good relationship,” she stressed while noting that someone told her Davis was planning to exchange the motorbike with someone for either a car or jeep but died before he could do so.
She said she was at home when a neighbor called her son and told him about the accident and that Davis was probably dead.

“I said ‘no, I can’t believe’ and then someone called and yes he died, and we saw a video on somebody’s WhatsApp status,” the bereaved aunt told ANN.
She said Davis was “a very cool guy, loved by everybody.”
“This is very heartbreaking to speak of him in the past tense,” said the aunt who noted that Davis was born in Trinidad and Tobago and came here with his Vincentian parents at a tender age.

Davis is the third person in 2020 to die on the nation’s roads.
“He loved life and was friendly and outgoing,” she stressed while noting that his death has left a void.
