    Mespo man chops aunt and uncle, damages grandmother’s property

    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident which resulted in a 42 and a 54-year-old brother and sister being wounded.

    According to investigations, at approximately 7:05pm on Sunday June 14th, 2020 the police at Mesopotamia was alerted via telephone of a chopping incident which occurred at Mt. Pleasant, Mesopotamia. Upon arrival at the scene Carlyle MC Kenzie, a 42-year-old plumber and his 54-year-old sister, Monique both of Mt. Pleasant, Mesopotamia were met with multiple chop wounds about their bodies.

    The perpetrator is also accused of damaging two (2) wooden doors during the incident belonging to his 78 years old grandmother by chopping same with a cutlass.

    The alleged perpetrator is the nephew of both victims. He is presently in police custody assisting with their investigation.
