    Trinidad and Tobago has recorded 15 additional cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus.

    The Heath Ministry reported seven new cases this morning.

    This afternoon the Ministry reported eight additional cases.

    The following is the latest data:

    Number of samples submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the UWI site for testing for COVID-19 10,270

    Number of samples which have tested positive 225

    Number of deaths 8

    Number of persons discharged 135

    The Ministry of Health provides the following update:

     Eight (8) additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.

    These cases are pending epidemiological investigation.

    All established protocols have been implemented.
