The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has announced a major expansion of its media footprint with the launch of Rush Live & Louder, a dedicated television channel that will provide Caribbean cricket fans with year-round access to live matches, original programming and international cricket content.
The new channel, developed in partnership with Rush Sports, is scheduled to launch on July 1, 2026 and will be available across major cable and television networks throughout the Caribbean.
Officials describe the initiative as a transformational step for Caribbean cricket broadcasting, marking the evolution of the CPL from a seasonal sporting competition into a permanent cricket media platform designed to serve fans throughout the year.
Rush Live & Louder will carry coverage of both the men’s and women’s Republic Bank CPL tournaments while also broadcasting cricket from leading international cricket boards and competitions around the world.
The channel will feature live matches, highlights, classic encounters, documentaries, magazine programmes, talk shows and exclusive behind-the-scenes content, providing viewers with cricket programming beyond the traditional CPL season.
Republic Bank CPL Chief Executive Officer Pete Russell described the launch as a significant milestone for both Caribbean cricket and sports broadcasting in the region.
“Rush Live & Louder is a huge moment for CPL, for Rush Sports and for cricket in the Caribbean,” Russell said. “We have always wanted to give Caribbean fans more cricket, more often, and this channel allows us to do exactly that. CPL will remain at the heart of the offering, but fans will now be able to watch live cricket from around the world throughout the year.”
Russell added that the channel would create what he called a true “home of cricket” for Caribbean audiences.
Michael Look Tong, Chief Executive Officer of CPSL, operators of Rush Sports, said the project reflects the deep passion Caribbean people have for the game and represents a significant advancement in sports media.
“By combining CPL’s world-class cricket properties with premium international rights and original programming, we are creating a channel that will serve cricket fans every day of the year,” Look Tong said.
The channel is expected to become one of the first dedicated linear television channels launched by a cricket league anywhere in the world, positioning the CPL among a select group of sporting organizations that directly distribute their own content while acquiring rights from other competitions.
Coverage of the 2026 Republic Bank CPL season will begin when the tournament bowls off on August 7, but viewers will have access to cricket programming from the moment the channel launches in July.
The initiative also builds on the CPL’s strong digital presence, with the league’s social media platforms already serving as a year-round destination for cricket fans across the Caribbean and beyond.
League officials believe the launch of Rush Live & Louder will strengthen fan engagement, expand access to international cricket and help establish a continuous cricket ecosystem throughout the region.
While the CPL remains one of the Caribbean’s premier sporting events, the new channel is expected to ensure that cricket fans have access to world-class content every month of the year, further cementing the region’s deep connection to the sport.
