    South Rivers Residents charged with wounding

    On 8.09.2020, Police arrested and charged Donnie Williams, 43years old FarmerMechanic and Cauldric Harrington both of South Rivers with Wounding withintent and Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.

    According to investigations, the Accused men allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wound a 71 year old farmer of South Union by chopping him about his body with a cutlass
    Inaddition, theAccused men were further charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on the said farmer by striking him with a stone on the right side of his hip. The incidents occurred at South Rivers about 5:40pm on 3.07.2020.

    The Accused men appeared before the Serious Offences Court to answer to the charges and pleaded not guilty. They were granted bail in the sum three thousand dollars ($3000.00) with one surety and ordered not to contact the virtual complainant. The matter was adjourned January 11th, 2021.
