    Two Jointly Charged With Robbery in Union Island

    On Thursday, October 09, 2020, Aaron Sterling of Clifton, Union Island and Alaski Samuel of Redemption Sharpes were arrested and jointly charged with the offence of robbery.


    According to investigations, the Accused men allegedly being armed with guns robbed a 23 year old Sea Captain of Clifton, Union Island of $3000.00EUR and $100.00ECC in cash. The incident occurred at Clifton, Union Island on 06.10.2020.


    The Accused men appeared before the Serious Offences Court to answer to the charge and pleaded not guilty. Sterling was granted bail in the sum of $12,000.00 with one (1) surety while Samuel was granted bail in the sum of $30,000.00 also with one (1) surety.

    Both men were additionally ordered to surrender all travel documents and report to the Union Island and Central Police Stations respectively every Monday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Sterling will reappear in Court on 28.01.2021 and Samuel on 19.10.2020.
