    Mechanic lost 18 thousand dollars valuables in suspected Arson

    Police are investigating a report of Arson made by a 51-year-old Mechanic on 27.02.19.

    The V/C in his report to the police alleges that some unknown person(s) for without lawful excuse destroyed by fire one (1) gold Toyota Hiace van valued ten thousand, five hundred dollars (EC$10,500.00), one (1) board and galvanize garage valued two thousand, five hundred dollars (EC$2,500.00) and one (1) blue Daihatsu Terios jeep valued five thousand dollars (EC$5000.00). The total cost of the items destroyed is eighteen thousand dollars EC$18,000.00. The incident occurred at New Grounds on 23.02.19.

    The police are soliciting the assistance of the members of the public with vital information about this report that will aid with the investigation and the prosecution of the offender(s) or any other reports to divulge same to the Assistant Commissioner in charge Crimes at 1784-456-1339 or the Officer in charge Eastern Division at 1784-458-6229.
