    Stephenson representing SVG at the launch of the US-Caribbean Resilience Partnership meeting

    Minister of Social Development and Community Development, Frederick Stephenson is among Senior Officials from eighteen Caribbean Countries, attending the launch of the US-Caribbean Resilience Partnership Ministerial in Miami, Florida.

    Minister Stephenson is accompanied by Director of the National Emergency Management Organization, Michelle Forbes at the Ministerial session, which is looking at new opportunities for collaboration to enhance the region’s preparedness and response efforts

    In his address at the Meeting, Minister Stephenson said the partnership that has been ongoing between SVG and the US Southern Command is one that is welcomed.

    He said it will test the national response mechanisms, identify gaps and areas that need to be strengthened as we continue to build our resilience.
