– New Name, Same Commitment to Connecting Communities –
C&W Communications, a leading telecommunications provider with more than 150 years of service to the region, has officially transitioned to Liberty Caribbean. This strategic rebranding aligns the company more closely with its parent, Liberty Latin America, and signals a renewed commitment to advancing digital transformation across the Caribbean.
As part of the evolution, C&W Business will now operate as Liberty Business, delivering world-class enterprise solutions under the unified Liberty Caribbean identity.
> “For well over a century, we have been a vital link across the Caribbean – from the first undersea telegraph cables to today’s high-speed broadband, mobile, and enterprise services,” said Inge Smidts, CEO of Liberty Caribbean. “As Liberty Caribbean, we embark on our next chapter with excitement and determination, unwavering in our mission to bring people together and enrich lives.”
Continuity for Customers
Customers can expect business as usual. The Flow and BTC consumer brands will continue operating under their current names, with no changes to customer plans, service levels, or points of contact.
> “While our corporate name changes, everything our customers know and love remains the same,” added Smidts. “Our commitment to service, community, and innovation continues without interruption.”
Let Your Riddim Flow
Coinciding with the rebrand, Liberty Caribbean is launching a vibrant, culture-first campaign titled “Let Your Riddim Flow”. This initiative taps into the unique rhythm and identity of each island, bringing the brand to life through:
Music collaborations and cultural partnerships
Community activations and in-store experiences
Engaging digital storytelling
This campaign elevates Flow and BTC from service providers to cultural ambassadors, celebrating Caribbean resilience, creativity, and progress.
A Unified Purpose
This transformation also includes a renewed push for community upliftment. The Liberty Caribbean Foundation, formerly C&W Charitable Foundation, will continue its vital social impact work across the region.
> “This is more than a rebrand – it’s a recommitment to the people we serve,” said Smidts. “From enhanced app-based customer support to upgraded network investments and new loyalty rewards, we’re making it easier and more rewarding to stay connected.”
Looking Ahead
Balan Nair, CEO of Liberty Latin America, emphasized the significance of this transition:
> “The evolution to Liberty Caribbean signals the start of an exciting chapter. Whether enabling remote work, linking families, or empowering small businesses, Liberty Caribbean stands ready to drive regional progress through connectivity.”
