Kingstown St. Vincent June 08, 2026-Importers, exporters and brokers in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will now be able to complete key customs transactions online following the launch of the upgraded ASYCUDA World 4.4 platform.

The upgrade was unveiled by Comptroller of Customs Selwyn DaSilva, who said the system would allow businesses to submit declarations electronically, pay duties and taxes online and receive real-time notifications without visiting government offices.

“They can do all of this from their offices, their homes, their hotel, and even if they are in flight to and from St. Vincent,” Mr DaSilva said.

The launch forms part of a broader digital transformation programme aimed at creating a paperless trade environment.

Mr DaSilva said the platform would serve as the foundation for V-SWIFT, a National Single Window system that will eventually connect 22 government agencies through a single digital gateway.

Under the arrangement, traders will be able to submit permits, licences, certificates and approvals through one integrated platform rather than dealing with multiple agencies separately.

He described the initiative as a significant step towards aligning the country’s trade systems with international standards.
