SERU Says, your UWI degree will take you far! Ask Shawn Chandler, a B.Sc Public Sector Management graduate of the Cave Hill Campus, currently enrolled at the Rostov Law Institute in Russia pursuing a specialist degree in State Law.

This Vincy-Bajan is a police officer with over 17 years of service in the Royal St. Vincent and The Grenadines Police Force.

After completing the Associate Degree in Law and Paralegal Studies and applying to Cave Hill to pursue his Bachelors, Shawn took the advice of faculty advisors and registered for the B.Sc in Public Sector Management, graduating with honours.

He told SERU that the knowledge and skills gained at The UWI Cave Hill Campus have equipped him to better understand and cope with situations as they occur on his job which involves statistical data analytics in the Narcotics Unit of the Royal Saint Vincent and The Grenadines Police Force.

He credits much of his success as a student to having taken advantage of the support services available at the Campus and encourages current students to do the same.

As Shawn spreads his Blackbird wings in Russia, carrying on our proud UWI tradition of excellence, the entire Cave Hill family soars with him!
