Trinidad Express- Call names! Call names! So declared Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bisssessar yesterday as she responded to claims by National Security Minister Stuart Young that two high-ranking United National Congress (UNC) members were in talks with criminals and imprisoned gang leaders.

“Let them call names. This vague kind of nonsense…you’re hiding behind a veil. Call the names and give the names to the police and let the police investigate,” Persad-Bissessar said during a news conference, held at the UNC’s South Regional Office in San Fernando.

“Why you coming on a political platform? Give it to the police, (and say) look I have information. No, they wouldn’t do that, (but they) come on a platform…” she added.
