The St.Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) wishes to congratulate all our students on the May/June 2019 CAPE sittings.

Some of our students performed extremely well and are ranked in the top ten in the region in this year’s results.

Ms. Jozanne Layne was ranked no.1 for the CAPE Green Engineering Unit 2. Also making the top ten for Green Engineering Unit 2 were Richard Russell 5th, Kyle Jelani Niles and Sachi Cherese Sutherland tied for 7th and Joran Moore placed 10th.

This year’s Prime Minister’s awardee for best overall CAPE performance in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ms. Ianà Ferguson, placed 3rd in the region for Computer Science Unit 2.

Other top ten places went to Mr Bertram Stapleton and Mr Roshano Huggins who placed 9th and 10th respectively Green Engineering Unit 1. Mr Shane Cadougan who received the Milton Cato Award for his excellent performance at CAPE was ranked 10th for Integrated Mathematics.

We thank the students, parents and lecturers for their hard work in the academic year 2018-2019. Special mention must be made of the following lecturers whose students have achieved the above rankings in the mentioned subject areas: Mr. Allanson Cruickshank and Ms Nerlene Ballantyne, Green Engineering, Mrs Ishanta Cummins, Computer Science and Mrs Dawn Scott and Mr Wayne Young who worked with Shane on the Integrated Mathematics SBA.

Mr. Cruickshank must be especially commended as this is the first year that so many Vincentian students have been ranked in the top ten regionally for a single subject.

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College takes this opportunity to wish the students all the best in their future endeavours. Nothing Limits Excellence!
