    Intermediate High School burglarized

    ANN has received reports that the Intermediate High School, located at Mc Kies Hill was burglarized last night. A reliable source indicated that the staff room and the principal’s office was ransacked and some desks were emptied of cash, it is estimated that over $1,000 XCD was stolen. Some monies stolen include funds raised by students for their respective sports houses. During a telephone interview this morning, the principal of the school confirmed that a laptop was stolen from her office. She stated that this is the second time that a laptop has been stolen from her office.

    ANN also received reports that the watchman, who was on duty at the time of the incident was tied up and beaten, however, the principal added that she cannot confirm that and will not make any comments on that. She also outlined that she was not prepared to discuss much relating to the incident since all the information was still yet to be provided to her.

    It is unknown as to how many persons were involved in the incident. ANN is following this story and will post an update accordingly.
