On Sunday morning, after an appeal for 19 year old Shania Johnson’s safe return, her body was discovered in the Akers/Argyle area.

It was said that Shania left work on Friday to go into Kingstown to collect her salary then to purchase items for her 10 month old baby. During an interview yesterday, her mother confirmed that she heard that Shania got a ride with someone after she said she was going into Kingstown but was unsure of who it was.

However, ANN was able to ascertain that Shania did not collect her salary at the Treasury Department on Friday. It is unclear whether Shania made it into Kingstown.

ANN is following this story and will continue to update as details develop.
