Businessman robbed at gun point

Police are investigating a report of Robbery made by a 70 years old Businessman of Salt Pond, on 30.11.18 against an armed unknown person.
According to investigations, about 09:10 p.m. on 29.11.18 at Clifton, Union Island, the accused person allegedly robbed the complainant at gunpoint and stole from him cheques in the sum of EC$27,450.00, US$5,580.00 and EC$2,428.00 respectively.
Police are asking the financial institutions to be on the alert for a person attempting to solicit fraudulent transactions.
