    Brighton resident hospitalized after receiving gunshot wound to forehead.

    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a report of Attempted Murder on a 29-year old Labourer of Brighton.

    According to preliminary investigations, an unknown man with the intent to commit the offence of murder, allegedly shot the virtual complainant on the right side of his forehead with a gun. The incident reportedly occurred at Diamond about 1:00am on the 23rd December, 2018.

    The virtual complainant is currently a patient in the Intensive Care Unit at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

    The police are urging anyone who may have information that would lead to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrator(s) to call the Assistant Commissioner in charge of Crimes at 1-784-61339 or the Calliaqua Police Station at 1784-458-4200 or the Officer in Charge of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 1784-456-1810; or any Police Station.
