    Kingstown park man charged with theft of over $15,000 dollars

    Police have arrested and charged Suggie Thomas, 31 years old Vendor of Kingstown Park/ New Prospect with Theft on 10.03.19.

    The accused allegedly stole eleven thousand one hundred and eighty Eastern Caribbean dollars (EC$11,180.00) in cash, two thousand one hundred and twenty European dollars (EURO$2,120.00) in cash, three thousand four hundred and eighty United States dollars (USD$3,480.00) in cash, two (2) cellular phones valued one thousand one hundred dollars (EC$1,100) and a gold plated chain valued thirty-five dollars ($35.00). The property of two Union Island residents and an 18-year-old student of Mt. Pleasant stolen at the Cobblestone Inn, Kingstown, between 08.03.19 and 09.03.19.

    Thomas is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
