The Levi Latham Health Complex in Marriaqua was officially opened on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 .
The upgrade to the Health Complex was done under the Modernization of the Health Sector Project, with funding from the European Union at a cost of seven million dollars.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Cuthbert Knights in his address says the new facility will provide greater access to quality healthcare to the public as the Government continues its thrust to advance access to healthcare in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Minister of Health, Luke Browne says the opening of the new facility represents the Government’s commitment to the health revolution here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said this country can boast of having an excellent Public Health System.
