Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar says the Government continues to strengthen its Agri Export Strategy Initiative.

He made this statement during yesterday’s ceremony which was held for the Government to sign an agreement with Rainforest Seafoods, which is the region’s largest processor and supplier of premium quality seafood.
For the project approximately nine million dollars will be invested here for the establishment of a Fish Processing Plant at Calliaqua.

The project is expected to become operational within the next 12 to 18 months.
