Organizers of the Union Island Easterval activities which climaxed earlier this week have described this year’s edition of the festival, as a huge success.

Marketing Officer of the Easterval Committee, Stanton Goombs says they had many locals, returning nationals and visitors supporting this year’s festival.
Mr. Goombs says during the festival they had a wide range of indigenous activities taking place mixed with sporting events, gospel events and parties.

He says one of the most successful parts of the program was Easterval Saturday because on this day they held a major trade show as well as the highly anticipated Miss Easterval Pageant which is a hit, every year.
