    Youths charged for carrying illegal ammunition

    Police have arrested and charged J’Kan Gabriel, 15yrs Student, Romel Francis, 17yrs Student and Rashad Anderson, 16yrs Labourer all of Barrouallie for allegedly having in their possession one (1) round of 12gauge ammunition (2) For having in their possession one (1) homemade firearm make and serial number unknown without a licence issued under the Fire Arms Act at Barrouallie. The incident occurred on 26.06.19.

    Gabriel was additionally arrested and charged with allegedly intending to discharge a loaded firearm at a 19 year Labourer of Barrouallie. This incident occurred at Barrouallie on 26.06.19.

    The accused teens appeared before the Serious Offences Court where they pleaded not guilty to the offences. They were granted bail in the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) each with one surety. The matter was adjourned to September 23, 2019.
