Mother fears for 5-year-old daughter
ANN is following a report made by the mother of a 5-year-old girl against the man that she (the mother) is currently in a relationship with.
ANN received some information today from the woman involved who said that she fears that her boyfriend of 3 years , and a senior officer within the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) may have been interfering with her infant girl.
The couple lives on the Leeward side of the island.
According to the woman she went to town and left her daughter and boyfriend home.
But when she returned some time later, she met the door locked and upon entering the living room area of the house met the man, who was shirtless, hugging and kissing the child.
She further alleged that the man had his tongue stuck in the little girl’s ear.
The mother said that she immediately confronted the man and according to her who she said was at a loss for words after being caught.
The distraught woman further stated that the man then warned her against reporting the matter saying that no one will believe her story and that if she did, he will deal with her.
She has reported to ANN that she is fearful about going to make a report, even upon the insistence of ANN that she make a report to the Public Relations and Complaints Department, or directly to the Commissioner of Police, saying that she knows that no one will believe what she said is true.

If the man is a lowly police constable he will easily be thrown under the bus. But if he is a senior officer he will be protected as they close ranks. If it is a minister forget it, he will be untouchable.
