    21 years old Michael Richards Remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison for Robbery

    Police have arrested and charged Michael Richards, 21 years Labourer of Calliaqua with Robbery on 17.08.19.

    According to investigations, Richards who with was armed with a gun struck a 38-year-old resident of Lauders in the head and in the back and robbed him of one (1) red headphone valued EC $20.00 and EC $20.00 in cash. The incident occurred at Diamond on 02.08.19.

    The accused appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on 19.08.19 for an arraignment and was not allowed to plea. He was remanded into custody at Her Majesty’s Prison. The case was transferred to the Serious Offences Court and adjourned to 03.09.19.
