    Police officer charged the with Possession of Controlled Drugs

    Police have arrested and charged Ian Jacobs, 24 years old Police Officer of Chateaubelair with Possession of Controlled Drugs with intent to supply to another and Possession a Controlled Drug for the Purpose of Drug Trafficking on 14.10.19.

    According to investigations, Jacobs was met in possession of two hundred and thirty-four (234) grammes of cannabis at the Kingstown Wharf. The incident occurred on 13.10.15.

    Jacobs appeared before the Serious Offences Court on 15.10.19 and plead not guilty to the charges. He was granted bail in the sum of EC$2500 with one surety, and is expected to report the Chateaubelair Police Station as a part of his bail condition.
