    Paul’s Avenue resident placed on curfew for robbery

    Police have arrested and charged Bahari Dopwell, 18-years-old Labourer of Paul’s Avenue with the offense of Robbery on 27th September 2019.

    According to investigations, the accused allegedly being armed with a gun robbed an 18-year-old Student of Green Hill of one (1) white and gold I phone 6 Cellular phone value $800.00ECC and in order to do so put the complainant in fear of being there and then subjected to force. The incident occurred at Grenville Street, Kingstown about 11:00 pm on 27.09.19.

    Dopwell appeared before the senior magistrate on Monday 20th and pleaded not guilty to the charge, Dopwell was granted bail in the sum of $5000 dollars, he was also placed on a curfew, the curfew would run from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am daily. Dopwell is also required to report to the Central Police station on Monday and Friday at 8:00 am daily. Dopwell would return to Court on November 25th, 2019.
