PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT All holders of licenses to sell intoxicating liquors in the South Central Police Division which spans from the bridge in Arnos Vale in the vicinity of ACE Two (2) to the bridge at the North Union Vegetable Market (inclusive of the interior villages) are advised to pay their liquor licenses for 2019 immediately or face prosecution. Volume 14, Chapter 473, section (3) subsection (1) of the Liquor Licence Act states “any person who sells, exposes for sale or disposes any intoxicating liquor without being duly licensed to sell the same, or at any place or in any manner that he is not authorized by his licence to sell the same, is guilty an offence under this Act.”  Liquor License checks conducted by the police in the division has revealed that there are many persons who have failed to pay their license to date. Persons who maybe selling intoxicating liquor using the wrong liquor license are also advised to get the correct license to sell same. Please be advised accordingly.
