
Slight to moderate (1.0 – 2.0m) northeasterly swells continue until Saturday. A deep-layered Low Pressure System in the North Atlantic is propagating large swells southwards and wave heights could be rising again Saturday night, becoming moderate to rough (2.0 – 3.0 m) Sunday night with northerly swells reaching coastal waters of SVG.
Swells could be peaking near 3.5 m (12 ft) during Monday on eastern coasts, with moderate to rough sea conditions before retreating during the afternoon on Tuesday 21st January, 2020.
Large waves and dangerous rip-currents during could create unsafe conditions for sea-bathers and small-craft operators. Conditions could become more adverse at high tide times; Sunday 01:06 am and 01:18 pm, Monday 01:50 am and 02:32 pm and Tuesday 02:35 am and 03:54 pm. Advisories/Warnings may be necessary for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
