    49 year old Businessman of Clifton, Union Island Charged for Allegedly Wounding 36 year old Fisherman and Damaging his Boat

    Police have arrested and charged Cletus Alexander, 49 years old Businessman of Clifton, Union Island with the offences of Damage to Property and Wounding on 12.03.2020.

    According to investigations, the accused allegedly wounded a 36-year-old Fisherman of Ashton, Union Island by cutting him on his right ring finger with an unknown object. He also allegedly damaged one (1) orange and white wooden boat valued EC$17,000.00 by running a pirogue boat onto same. The property of the 36-year-old Fisherman of Ashton, Union Island. The incident occurred at Ashton, Chattum Bay, Union Island on 22.02.2020.

    Alexander is expected to appear before the Magistrate Court to answer the charges.
