In light of the announcements by the Ministry of Health confirming one case of Covid-19 in St. Vincent, we wish to advise that Massy Stores (SVG) Ltd has taken some very decisive steps.

Safety is our top priority for customers and employees. We have increased our in-store hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and healthy environment in all stores.

Our stores are cleaned daily and we have increased the frequency of our cleaning rotations. We utilize approved sanitizing solutions in high-touch, high contact and traffic areas. We also have employees dedicated to cleaning key areas throughout the day including registers, baskets and trolleys.

We are dedicated to keeping stores stocked and have significantly increased our operational efforts to replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, canned foods and other in-demand items as quickly as possible. To date, we maintain our confidence in our supply chain to support the increased demand.

We wish to categorically state, that we are not engaged in any form of price gouging or unfair trade practices. This is not in keeping with the values of Massy Stores. Neither have we increased the prices of any of our existing stock of supplies. Customers should be mindful however, that current supply chain challenges, for certain products, could see some price increases in the future. We will continue to work with suppliers to manage this impact.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our valued customers and we are doing everything we can to provide a safe shopping experience for all and a healthy environment for all who visit our locations. In all of this, our staff welfare remains paramount and we continue to thank our committed staff for their commitment to providing high levels of service even at this critical time.
