In an effort to keep children active while at home on their Easter break, the division of Physical Education and Sport will be embarking on a series of hikes round the country. Though these hikes are geared toward the children, adults are also welcome to take part.
Amid the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic and in adhering to the Ministry of Health’s guidelines, relating to social distancing, hikers will be encouraged not to be in close proximity to each other.
The first of these hikes will take place tomorrow from 12:30 at Earlene Horne Square in Diamonds Village, and end in Park Hill.
On Thursday, the next hike will go from Pembroke to Layou.
Then on Tuesday, April 7th, it will be the turn for hikers to go from Colonaire to Park Hill, and over to South Rivers.
