    MOTORISTS SUMMONED FOR RECKLESS DRIVING

    In its quest to ensure safety on our nation’s roads, the Traffic Department of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) continues to clamp down on incidents of reckless and dangerous driving. Consequent upon the circulation of a video on social media showing a number of motorists driving along the Arnos Vale and Sion Hill Public Road in what appeared to be in a reckless manner, the Traffic Department subsequently launched an investigation into the incident.

    Upon completion of the investigations, the Police have instituted proceedings by way of summons against Javon Jardine, 23 yrs of Mt. Pleasant, T.J Deane, 21 yrs of Prospect and J- Lani Douglas, 25 yrs of Rockies for Reckless Driving. They are summoned to appear at the Magistrate Court in Kingstown on April 17, 2020 to answer to the complaint. The incident occurred on April 11, 2020.

    Head of the Traffic Department, Superintendent of Police, Mr. Kenneth John wishes to advise all motorists to drive with caution and exercise due care and attention at all times. Superintendent John further advises that all acts of reckless and dangerous driving would be prosecuted according to law. DRIVE CAREFULLY AND STAY SAFE!
