    Trough system to affect SVG

The Atlantic High Pressure System is dominant across the islands. On its south-western edge, a weak trough could result in increased low level-moisture across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) with occasional cloudy skies and scattered showers by Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning. Trailing the trough, a few showers are possible Wednesday night into Thursday.

Moderate to occasionally fresh (20 – 35 km/h) east north-easterly trade-winds could become gentle at times. A turn to east south-east is expected during Wednesday, as the trough crosses the islands.

Slight to moderate (1.2 – 2.0 m) sea conditions are across our islands. Slight fall in swell heights may be noticeable during Tuesday (near 1.0 m on west and 1.5 m on east coasts of SVG), rising again late Thursday.
