    Going Out of My Mind

    Dear Crystal,

I am 16 years old, dating a 24 year old Van driver, my mom recently caught me performing oral sex on him. She beat him with her slippers and he ran out of the house with his shirt in hand… She whooped my ass too. That was three weeks ago, now he sent me a text saying it’s over. I love him, and can’t live without him.

    Thanks

    Going out of my mind

Dear Going out of my mind,

Thank you for your email. First off, I just want you to know that you’re going to be ok. Right now, let’s be realistic. I was once young and heartbroken and felt like the world would come to an end, but guess what?! You are still young and have your entire life ahead of you. Surround yourself with positive peers or friends, I know it’s hard, but like I said before you will be ok, everything happens for a reason. Do things to distract yourself, take up a new hobby. Have you ever tried creating a vision board? Google it, you might be interested, if you need help creating one, feel free to reach out. Eventually, you will heal and when the time is right, the right person will come along. I understand you’re at the age where you’re curious and your body has feelings and urges that you may want to act upon. It’s at this time you need to focus on you, and where you see yourself in the near future. Concentrate on your education, that mixed with determination and dedication, will be your passport to a stable life and financial freedom. Disappointments are inevitable, but they will make you stronger. Remember, you are allowed to have these emotions, this is a part of life. What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.

    Best wishes,

    Crystal Clear
