The Administrator for LIAT, Cleveland Seaforth, says all governments in the region will be asked to write off debts owed by the carrier.
Seaforth told ABS News that this accounts for nearly a third of the over EC$300 million in liabilities on the airline’s books.
“We have spoke to the employees through their unions, we have spoken to a number of stakeholders, some of the creditors we’ve been having discussions with them and we continue to do so,” Seaforth said.
“We have also, so far, been speaking with potential investors who have expressed an interest in coming onboard.”
