    Enhams resident charged with wounding and damage of property

    Police have arrested and charged Roderick Richards, 59 years old Sales Clerk of
    Enhams with resisting arrest, wounding and damage to property.
    According to investigations, the accused resisted the arrest of a female Police Officer
    acting in the due execution of her duty by pulling away from her. In addition, he was
    charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding the said police officer by striking
    her in her face with his hands. In the process, without lawful excuse, he damaged
    the handle of the female Police Officer prescription glasses value $1975.00. The
    incidents occurred at Belmont on 21.08.2020.
    Richards will appear before the Calliaqua Magistrate’s Court to answer to the
    charges.
