    BRAGSA to complete new Vegetable Market by the end of September

    Work on the final phase of the new Vegetable Market in Kingstown is scheduled to be completed by the end of next month.

    That’s according to Construction Manager of the BRAGSA project, Mr. John Greaves.

    Mr. Greaves says they’ve been working extended hours and on weekends since the project started on the 30th June, 2020.

    Phase 1 and 2 saw the construction of 99 stalls at the Customs building, and 73 Stalls at the old Vendors Market.

    The final phase will see the construction of 82 Stalls at the old Meat Market.

    Upon completion, the new market areas will house in total 254 Vendors.
