On 2.09.2020, Police arrested and charged Augustus Stewart, 57 years old Labourer of Questelles with two (2) counts of wounding.
According to investigations, the accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wound a 56 year old Prison Officer of the same address by chopping him on the back of his neck with a cutlass.
In addition, he was charged with wounding a 61 year old Labourer also of Questelles by chopping him on his left hand with a cutlass. The incidents occurred at Questelles about 4:45pm on 26.04.2020.
Stewart will appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer to the charges.
