    Former PWA Chairman donates Coffee Maker and Creamer to RSVGPF

    Retired Leading Seaman and former chairman of the Police Welfare Association, Mr. Jerome Dick has donated a Coffee Maker, along with other amenities including creamers, beans and filters to the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) on Friday September 11, 2020 at Police Headquarters.
    Dick disclosed that having had the opportunity to serve in the RSVGPF is a moment that he will always cherish. He stated that he and his brother, Fitzgerald Dick who is also a former police officer decided that they would ‘give back’ to the Police Force in some tangible way. He went on to say “this is the first venture that we are on. We are from Stubbs so we want to donate these items to the Commissioner of Police and other members of the Police Force.” Dick further stated “we are going to continue to supply all of the creamers and the other things to go with the coffee maker because we know that the officers have to work for long hours. According to Dick, they intend to make similar donations to as many police stations as possible.
    Commissioner of Police, Mr. Colin John accepted the items on behalf of the RSVGPF. He thanked the Dick brothers and commended them for choosing to give back to the organization. He assured Mr. Dick that the items would be handed over to the officers attached to the Stubbs Police Station and he is certain that they would not only appreciate them but would also take care of them.
    The Divisional Commander of the South Central Division, Superintendent of Police (SOP), Mr. Trevor Bailey was also present at the brief ceremony. SOP Bailey said he was delighted that his officers at the Stubbs Police Station was receiving such a gift at this time. According to SOP Bailey, the coffee maker will provide some level of convenience to the officers when they are executing their duties at the Station.
    Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leonard Fergus and CPL. 173 Lez Harry, Chairman of the Police Welfare Association (PWA) witnessed the presentation.
