    19 Year Old Rose Place Resident is SVG’s 25th Homicide For The Year.

    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Devonnie Belgreaves, 19 years, unemployed of Rose Place that occurred about 9:06pm on Sunday, November 8th, 2020 at Rose Place, Kingstown.

    According to investigations, members of the Major Crime Unit (MCU) were informed of a shooting incident in Rose Place. On arrival at the scene, Belgreaves lifeless body was met with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

    He was pronounced dead on the scene by the District Medical Officer (DMO) and the Coroner gave permission to remove the body.

    A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted on the body. Belgreaves’s death marks the twenty-fifth (25th) homicide for the year 2020. Investigations are ongoing.
