    ACE 2/COREAS PHARMACY 2 – FIRST TENANT AT JOSHUA CENTRE

    The decommissioned E.T. Joshua Airport is on its way to becoming one of this country’s major shopping centers with the official reopening of ACE 2/Coreas Pharmacy 2 which has relocated to that site and expected opening soon of ten other stores at that location.

    As the first enterprise to set up ‘shop’ at E.T. Joshua, Coreas Hazells Inc. has set a very high precedent, and according to Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, this shows the level of confidence that the parent company has in this country’s Government.
    Building and Supplies Manager Brian George said it brought them great satisfaction to move to the new facility, and that this is not just a relocation.

    George explained that they outgrew their old location which they had occupied for 12 years. The Coreas Hazells Inc. Building and Supplies Manager described the new facility as offering more warehouse and parking spaces. He thanked Hans King and the National Properties Limitted for working along with them on the venture.

    Manager of National Properties Hans King stated that anticipation is high for the opening of a complement of stores. According to King 10 stores are already lined up to set up shop in the Centre, offering a range of services, including, banking, a bar, and a high end restaurant, in what used to be the E.T. Joshua Airport restaurant. He said the Joshua Centre will be a marvelous edifice upon completion.

    Managing Director of Coreas Hazells Inc. Joel Providence said that he is pleased with the transformation that has taken place. Providence attributed their ACE 2/Coreas Pharmacy 2 opening to the vision of Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves. He said that the Company will open more ACE stores in the near future. Providence disclosed that Coreas Hazells has a foundation rooted in quality service and noted that the opening is a testimony “of the confidence that we have in those who work here at Arnos Vale.

    We are about people serving people”.

    Prime Minister Dr. The Hon Ralph Gonsalves congratulated all those who were involved on the ACE 2/Coreas Pharmacy 2 project stressing that he was very happy with the move by Coreas Hazells Inc. Dr. Gonsalves also noted that the Government has a good partnership with the Company.
    Prime Minister Gonsalves used the opportunity to point out that the area needs appropriate drainage and additional river defenses to make way for further infrastructural developments.
