    BRAGSA to payout $2.5 million to road workers next week

    The over five thousand persons who participated in this year’s Christmas Road Cleaning programme are scheduled to be paid early next week.

    They are expected to receive 2.5 million EC dollars for work done.

    The programme saw the employment of 5,405 persons. These included 450 gangs, and 905 Jobbers. In addition, over 100 Truckers were employed.

    Payments will be made on Monday December 21 and Tuesday December 22 between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm at the following locations:

    Monday December 21, 2020

    South Windward – BRAGSA’s Biabou Office

    South Central Windward – North Union Learning Resource Center (LRC)

    North Central Windward – Georgetown Police Station

    North Windward – BRAGSA’s Rabacca Office

    West St. George – Public Works Yard, Arnos Vale

    East St. George – Calliaqua Police Station

    Marriaqua – Mespo Police Station

    Tuesday December 22, 2020

    West Kingstown – BRAGSA Head Office, Kingstown

    East Kingstown – BRAGSA Head Office, Kingstown

    Central Kingstown – BRAGSA Head Office, Kingstown

    South Leeward – Questelles Learning Resource Center (LRC)

    Central Leeward – Layou Works Office

    North Leeward – BRAGSA’s Troumaca Roads Office

    Persons in the Grenadines will also be paid on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at the following locations:

    Northern Grenadines – Bequia Revenue Office

    Southern Grenadines – BOSVG
