    Police investigating the death of Insurance Broker

    POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the circumstances surrounding the death of Jexol Skinner, an Insurance Brooker of Edinboro.

    A police report said according to investigations, at about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, Skinner was at a barbershop within Baynes Building located on Granby Street, Kingstown when he allegedly got into an altercation with Barrington Cornwall, a barber of Prospect.

    Skinner was allegedly stabbed multiple times about his body with a pair of scissors. He was subsequently rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, the release said.

    Cornwall is currently in police custody assisting with the investigations.

    A post mortem examination is expected to be conducted on the deceased to ascertain the exact cause of death.

    Skinner’s death marks the 24th homicide for the year 2021.

All information will be treated confidentially. Investigations into the incident are ongoing
