The St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation, and the entire football fraternity is mourning the passing of Basil Robert
Cato, who contributed to the sport of football.
Basil commonly known as Bung Sukarno, became president of the SVG Football Federation in the early 90’s and was the individual who coined the phrase, “Soccer, the game of the people!”
The Executive, staff and all of the SVG Football Federation extend condolences and best wishes to Basil Robert Cato family, friends and the hundreds he positively impacted in his lifetime.
