    CENTRAL LEEWARD SECONDARY DOMINATES 2022 INTER SCHOOL SPORTS

    The Central Leeward Secondary School emerged the overall winners of the 2022 Inter-Secondary School Athletics Championships.

    At the championships held at the Sir Vincent Beache Stadium on Friday (April 8), the Central Leeward Secondary, also known as the Barrouallie Secondary, won the girls’ championship with 414 points.

    Central Leeward Secondary also won the boys’ championship with 345 points.

    Two of the school’s athletes, Ramol James and Gailann John also captured the victor ludorum and victrix ludorum awards, respectively.

    The other team winners were the St. Vincent Girls’ High School, which placed second in the girls’ category with 211 points, and the Thomas Saunders Secondary School, which placed third in the girls’ category with 191 points.

    Second position in the boys’ category was the St. Vincent Boys’ Grammar School with 284 points. Third position went to the St. Martins Secondary School with 159 points.
