The Caribbean Examination Council, CXC, has extended the start this year’s CSEC and CAPE exams by three weeks.

The extension follows weeks of lobbying by the Education Ministry and other stakeholders for the regional exams to be pushed back.

Exams were set to get underway on May 2.

CXC is set to host a media briefing about the administration of the 2022 regional examinations at 2pm.
