25-year-old waiter of Union Island who resides at Barrouallie was granted $15,000 bail with one surety on Wednesday, when he appeared in Court on a cocaine trafficking charge.
Joul Mills has been charged with possession of 2,010 grams of cocaine, for the purpose of drug trafficking.
Mills pleaded not guilty when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne at the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday.
He was granted bail on condition that he surrenders his travel documents, and reports to the Barrouallie Police Station on Mondays and Thursdays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Stop notices will be placed at all ports of entry and exit, and he is not to leave the state without the permission of the Serious Offences Court or the High Court. The matter has been adjourned to May 3.
The charge against Mills stemmed from a recent police action at Ashton, Union Island.
